To Wrench: God the Son Monday, 31-Jul-2000 02:06:53 Hi Wrench: I was going to just address myself to this latest attempt by you to wipe the slate clean and re-explain ur position on things, as you can see from my initial response, but then I got to the end of your post and read this from you:

"You ask many other questions about many other scriptures (Hebrews 1:10, Isaiah 44:24, 43:10, John 5:22, etc.) but I think we need to wait before addressing those until we have a better summation of the things that have been on the table for a long time. I get the feeling that you feel like your two key scriptures against the natural renderings of the threefold witness that I presented are slipping away from you and you are calling for reinforcements. I can't think why else you would throw those new considerations into an already unmanageably long post."

Well, Wrench, These passages plus a few others were directly related to your previous denial of the logos' participation in the creation of all things...based on a distinction between the words "create" and "make" in Gen. 1:26. My point being that the "God" you refer too INCLUDES the logos as the intermediate agency, just as in the context of salvation where he is our Savior and we likewise "owe" our salvation to the intermediate agency. But if you REALLY think my position is "slipping away from me", perhaps the wiser decision for you would be to "stay the course" and respond to my letter point for point...as I did yours. After all, if it's that bad for me, you should be able wrap it right up. I'm not in any hurry, so take whatever time you need. That would make this re-explanation of yours unnecessary, so I'll just hold it where we're at and wait for your response, how ever long it takes. Tks, Ray
